I am not ready to think about The Pipeline again quite yet. Instead, let's take another look at the Templo de Nuestra Señora de la Salud on a Sunday morning via still another photo of a church. This church is nearly older than water itself, built in 1555 or thereabouts.
Nuestra Señora de la Salud faces onto Plaza Cívica Ignacio Allende, the plaza that I have come to prefer for my plaza sitting sessions. El Jardin is overrun with tourists, particularly on the weekend. Not that I look down on tourists. They are a vital part of the local economy. I simply do not like to be in the middle of them more than necessary anymore. Plaza Cívica Ignacio Allende is all Mexican all the time except for one gringo expatriate occasionally.
