In the Countryside

These are plantings that I liked in front of house in the country. The little girl is in the front yard at the right.

A different specimen of the same plant elsewhere. That plant seems to be a favorite in that area. My polarizing filter on the camera was working overtime in that sun yesterday. I did not realize it at the time, and there is not much that I can do about it now. Often, I have quite the opposite problem, a washed out, over-exposed sky. The light is wonderful out there, but it is a constant battle when photographing scenes that have both highly exposed areas and shadows.

That is a little better.

A ford, obviously.

Acacia.
