The Market

Vast. Hot. Dusty. Crowded. Chaotic. Impossible to photograph because of those colored, plastic tarpaulins hung for the shade that cast hues. Tianguis de martes. The Tuesday market. My market. Every Tuesday. I love it.

The Dollar Store . . . or more precisely, The Ten Peso Store.

One can go with the assurance that anything one needs is for sale there somewhere. The only problem is finding it. The gentleman in the olive drab tee, for example, is selling replacement tops for blenders.

Once again, I neglected to bring a bag and had to purchase yet another.

A shopping companion riding in the new shopping bag.

I like the first shot. It's like the market has a top part and an underneath part...what you see and all the boxes it came in.

You got it, street. That is exactly how it works.
