Keith Richards's Libraries

Keith Richards is quoted as follows in The Sunday Times of London and other sources as follows:
When you are growing up there are two institutional places that affect you most powerfully: the church, which belongs to God, and the public library, which belongs to you. The public library is a great equaliser.

I consider that to be a remarkable statement and true in my own experience. I had previously known of his love for books because of a photo spread of some years ago in Vanity Fair, I think it was, featuring beautiful photographs of the libraries in his various homes. Inspired by Elijah Rising's book porn link, I trudged off, armed with Google to see if I could find some illegal online digital renderings of those photos. I found four.

This is allegedly Keith Richards's desk in the library of his Connecticut home.

I could not help adding a couple of additional photos here.

Keith Richards in his younger days as many of us remember him.

A more recent photo of Keith Richards, the one without the phone.
