Since it is so relentlessly on my mind anyway, I will now occasionally post up a little random quotation from 2666 by Roberto Bolaño insofar as it might shed some light on my current situation. Today's offering is from page 158:
One of the tennis players fell and Pelletier smiled.

Oh, I could not agree more, Four. Quite right. I myself have fallen down more than most.

I must admit, though, that I find something satisfying about watching an investment banker from New York fall on the tennis court.
