Oh I love that last Charlie Byrd video. I could sit here and listen to that all day long. Thanks for posting it here.

I am so glad you are enjoying it, Beej. Obviously, I myself am a fool for this stuff.

I keep returning here just to listen to it. I love it a lot.I grew up on this stuff. I wish you could have heard my dad play. I am sure you would have been impressed.

Well, then. Perhaps you should check out another Brazilian who is a bit less well known in the United States than these others. Caetano Veloso.

Go here first. The crowd reaction in this video will tell you something about what kind of figure he cuts in Brazil. From there you can search out other Caetano Veloso videos if you enjoy him, the audio for many of which is very good.

Oh my, they certainly love him, don't they? He has a beautiful voice and he seems so happy to be on that stage. I wish I knew someone who speaks Portuguese. I would love to know the words he is singing.

Thank you!

And lastly, Caetano Veloso's sister, Maria Bethânia.

I love it when people my age do well.

She has her brother's beautiful smile too.
